Platform Dynamics Recycle Bin 2.2 for EMC Documentum Released
Platform Dynamics today announces Platform Dynamics Recycle Bin Release 2.2 is available for customers. Platform Dynamics Recycle Bin (PDRB) provides Documentum users with a very simple approach to object level restore, similar to the Windows Recycle Bin. New features include:

• Deletion protection for any WDK based client such as Webtop, WebPublisher and Documentum Client for Outlook
• Deletion protection for any DFC based client such as Desktop Client
• Enhanced administrative functions such as more detailed usage reports, simple definition of Recycle Bin Administrators and more

Platform Dynamcis Lotus Notes^TM Connector 2.5 for EMC Documentum Is Available
Platform Dynamics today announces Platform Dynamics Lotus NotesTM Connector Release 2.5 is available for customers. Platform Dynamics Lotus NotesTM Connector (PDLNC) is an off-the-shelf, easy-to-install solution that enables end users to save e-mail messages and / or their attachments into EMC Documentum Repositories directly from the Lotus Notes client in their original format. A PDF version of the e-mail can then be generated and stored for long-term preservation and increased viability of the exported information.
New features include:

• Support for encrypted and signed e-mail messages
• EMC Documentum Lifecycles can now be applied to e-mail messages during export
• Export of "Draft" e-mail messages
• Choice of format (PDF or DXL) for primary rendition of the exported e-mail messages
• Assignment of a default location for the exported e-mail messages based on the object type
